Ok, so I am a pretty frugal guy and have been wanting a good digital SLR for years now, ever since the original digital rebel came out. Last night, I placed the order for my Rebel XT.
I wanted to get the order in prior to the expiration of Canon’s spring rebate, which ends July 15th.
I ended up purchasing from
buydig, after seeing them recommended on fatwallet. They were a good bit lower than amazon and have pretty good feedback on resellerratings. I also got a 2GB SanDisk Ultra II Compactflash card (from amazon).I’ll be using the EF lens that came with my Rebel G, until I’m ready to purchase a better lens.
I’ll keep you posted on how and when the camera arrives, and my experience with it!
